 Ingredients:

* 280 g of spaghetti

* 1 white onion (chopped)

* 2–3 garlic cloves (minced)

* 240 g of datterini tomatoes (or halved cherry tomatoes)

* A dozen black olives (pitted and sliced)

* 1 tablespoon desalted capers

* Olive oil (as needed)

* Salt (to taste)

* 1 can of tuna in olive oil

* Fresh basil leaves (chopped)

Instructions:

1. Start preparing the sauce:
In a large pan, heat olive oil. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until soft and aromatic.


2. Add the tomatoes:
Add the halved datterini tomatoes to the pan and cook until they begin to soften.


3. Add olives and capers:
Stir in the sliced black olives and desalted capers. Let it cook for 2–3 minutes.


4. Add the tuna:
Flake the tuna and add it to the pan along with a bit of oil from the can. Mix everything well.


5. Season with salt and basil:

6. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti:
